Good luck to Nottm Rockets U16's Team U16 Championships Final

Good luck to Nottm Rockets U16's Team this Sunday in the National U16 Championships Volleyball Final.

The team have been battling out against all the top Junior club sides in the country and have made excellent progress this year. After coming through the initial rounds fairly comfortably they made their way through to the last 8 which was a first for any Rockets U16's Team. After a slow start losing to Boswells in their first game they rallied to win the rest of their games to take their place in the semi final.

Coming second in their pool meant they would play against the winners of the other pool Wessex in the semi

Since 2009 the East Midlands Let’s Play Volleyball Festival has been hosted in front of a back drop of Lincoln Castle and has attracted hundreds of junior volleyball players from across the five counties of Lincolnshire , Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Northamptonshire. For 2012, the festival is moving further south to Hermitage Leisure Centre and will offer a junior sitting volleyball competition as well as a grass tournament for the first time ever!

The next U15 and U17 Boys training sessions will be held this coming Saturday the 11th of February at Southglade Leisure Centre from 2pm - 5pm

Sparkassen-Rondo Cup 2012

The England Cadet Boys and Gilrs will be attending the Sparkassen-Rondo Cup 2012 in Austria this weekend. The competition includes Regional teams, Junior teams from Pro Clubs and National teams from all over Europe.

England has a strong history of success with a win in 2008. It is many of the young players first taste of International Competition and everyone at Volleyball England wishes them the very best of luck in the competition.

National Let's Play Volleyball Festival - 2012

The National Let's Play Volleyball Festival is a two-day, all-inclusive, residential, national-level, open-entry, Volleyball competition for 7 - 17 year olds as part of the Let's Play Volleyball series. And is open to Change4Life, Community and PL4S Teams

What is it? A two-day, outdoor, Volleyball Festival for Under 17s

What's included? * Friday & Saturday night accommodation * Full board catering * Entry into any competition category * Goody bag for each entrant * Team Building Activity at the centre

When is it? Friday 20th July - Sunday 22nd July 2012
Where is it? Hosted at Caythorpe Court, PGL Centre in Grantham, North Lincolnshire
How much is it? £65 per space (£10 deposit per space payable on entry with the balance due by 1st July 2012)
